One of the strongest craft organizations in the country, the Southern Highland Craft Guild represents over 900 craftspeople in 9 southeastern states. The Guild has partnered with the National Park Service for more than fifty years, operates the Blue Ridge Parkway's Folk Art Center, and hosts the Craft Fairs of the Southern Highlands.

Located in Asheville, North Carolina, next to the world-renowned Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa, the Grovewood Gallery exhibits 9,000 square-feet of handmade American crafts by more than 500 artisans. The gallery features ceramics, glass, jewelry, garden sculpture, and an impressive second floor studio furniture collection.
